The UMF grading system appraises natural markers found in Mānuka honey, and assures purity & quality.

As well as regular monitoring of product, the UMF Honey Association also conducts random sampling to ensure Manuka honey carrying the UMF® mark is certified, true to label and can be trusted.

The UMF® testing process measures all three signature compounds present in Manuka honey (Leptosperin, Methylglyoxal (MGO, and DHA), and gives a more comprehensive result than other testing processes. This way you can be sure that the Manuka honey you buy is high quality and authentic.
